The Ma-te-way Aquatic Centre Committee is an organization whose sole purpose is the promotion and development of an aquatic facility for the Town of Renfrew.

This Aquatic Centre, when constructed, will provide the citizens of the Town of Renfrew and the surrounding municipalities with an aquatic facility that will help meet the needs for recreational swimming, life skills development, healthy lifestyles, therapeutic activities and physical therapy for all ages of our population. In short, a centre in which everyone from infants to seniors, from the disabled to those with therapeutic needs can use some or all aspects of the facility without having to have any specific skills.
